Goat Talk

Goat Talk is a sports podcast based in the Bay Area that kicked off in 2020 by Alonso Frias and discusses anything from local to national sports. Interviews inlcude coaches, reporters, sports psychologists, professional and retired players. This comedy infused podcast includes a use of data and statistics to fuel a bias-free discussion about sports. Goat Talk's main topic is Soccer, but other topics such as the NBA, MMA, and Boxing are also covered. The goal of the podcast is to cover sports in a way not done by mainstream media, as Goat Talk is unfiltered and is not afraid to tell it how it is. Alonso, a 2020 San Francisco State Journalism Graduate, serves as the host of the show.
