Welcome back everyone. This is episode twenty two of Goat Talk. I'm your host, Alonzo, and the first topic I want to get into is we just had the you twenty three Mexican national team win the Pre Olympic tournament. Yeah, we had Mexico squad of winning the tournament against on Buddhas. It was in a close matchup where they had to go to penalties to decide the winner. Ultimately, Mexico came out of top, winning four, five four in the penalties. What did you see from the team or what do you think lacked for them or what made it go down like you know, the penalties? I feel like they needed to be a little bit more aggressive on the offense. I feel like they they had possession, but they weren't really doing much with the ball, something I really noticed to with my ciss I'm always been getting a lot of hate, especially this tournament. I feel like, I don't know, I feel like it wasn't really trying. I mean he was one who provoked and ended up scoring the penalty, which a lot of people say that it wasn't. In my opinion, I think that was clear as day. Yeah, and then I feel like the TV though, that because they showed a different angle from the one we said and then on twitter ended up going viral about the other other angle from the camera that showed clearly how my he has got a shot off. He took out his ankles, but that was a clear penalty. It was a clear hit on the knee. But people were saying that because he got the shot off before he hit him, it shouldn't be a penalty, but that that's actually a rule by FIFA with even if he got this shot off and he was hit after the fact, it's still a penalty. So I feel like a lot of people, even the yeah, like you said earlier, the commentator and saying that it wasn't a penalty, but upon seeing that review, it was clear and then he ended up scoring the penalty and then next ended up winning. Yeah, and I mean credits on Budda's you know, they had a they scored a Banger of a goal and now now that has goal of the tournament. It really was. I mean, dude, he it was perfectly paid placed and I mean obviously went top bins. But I mean they kept pressuring Mexico whole game, another kind of forcing Mexico to play what Ludas wanted to do. Those subs that Losano made for his team really helped them in the second half when we saw one quarter of the wall went on and sort on Luna. They helped Mexico, you know, create those chances. We're like, before they had the penalty, that they had a couple easy chances where they could have scored, but they did it. But I mean the subs also helped Mexo get back into the game, in my opinion, because even like on Dudas, they ended up using all of their subs, and especially that person was scored the go to Edwin Releguez from Olympiano dudas. That was a really great goal. I feel like he had a really consistent game and, like you said, I feel like the subs helped Mexico law, especially because they've kind of played like with the mix of starters and sub players from their last match against Costa Rica for the ticket to the Olympics, and I don't know, I feel like somebody, like one of my feel I should have started, even though, I mean maybe you don't want to risk and getting injured, or or maybe something else behind the scenes that we don't know about but I feel like it's a final. I feel like, since it's a final, you got to put your best players, especially since they've been resting too, because they don't have games with their club teams. But overall,...

I feel like it was it's a really good national team, I feel like, with the exception of one or two people, I feel like everybody did what they had to do through this whole process. I still think Deva said, Booda US should be nowhere near a Mexican national team, and that's from somebody who supports Chivas. But other than that, I feel like Sevastan Hurdralo, who took up the spot of the goalie position after the starter got hurt, I feel like he did really well. He blocked the first penalty, which ended up helping Mexic with the win, and he just a solid goalie. I feel like at first I thought he was going to be one of the players to be replaced once they get to three overage players, but I think they should just go with Hud Illo all the way. You think, even if they get like if they bring in maybe, which we got to talk about in a little bit, like what if they bring like one of the three resources. As a veteran goalkeeper, you think that he's just still start over the veteran? Not, they bring it a veteran, he's gonna have to start too. But I don't know, because we never know how Louise, my lave one, who started the tournament, who's been playing consistently, win the CACSA. We don't know how he's going to come back from that injury. But if they end up getting an overage player, that's a goalie, eat there of course going to start over Hudlo, but I think he just stick with him. No, yeah, I agree. I agree, especially since he doesn't get minutes with Crusass Wood. Yeah, that's true. I mean, I mean he could be next in life for a Cruisi swood when corona retired. I mean most definitely that should be a key for that cruises, which should not let go. And he has a has a good he's a promising feature with Cruza Sudan for the Mexican national team. Because think about it too, even before this game where Mexico ended up getting the ticket to Tokyo, their last sixteen pre Olympic Games have been all sixteen wins, which is counting this one. Of this went on and they've only conceded eight goals and they've scored forty five, which is, Ye, crazy, and that's something to say too, like which we got to get into. We might as well get into right now, the US national team, which failed to qualify for the third time, right thirty, third time in a row and for the fourth time out of the last five. So that's I'll get into a little bit. But Mexico was playing against the same teams. In Mexico was putting up these numbers with players who aren't in Europe, with players from their local league, and they're still be able to perform, they're still able to get the job done. They beat on Dudas, which eliminated the US national team. They're playing against the same teams at a Sallaballore, Costa, Rica on Duras, what Demala, whichever, be a CONCUF. It's always going to be concos it's always the same teams, and I just think USA just they just fell to deliver once again. Yeah, they did, and I mentioned earlier, earlier in the week when they lost, how I saw on the twitter and you on switching media. I'm a lot of the USA fans were saying that, oh, they didn't make it Cuz,...

...you know, pull it sitching them and European players were with the senior squad and not with the you twenty three, and that it was mostly based MLS players. But I mean Mexico players were the players on the Mexico squad where all the got make these players and it was nothing and little exactly. Coming from to the we have players from atlas boom has nick, coxa, we have a fucking are starting CDM quick eski Bel plays on FC Quaddas, and you're telling me you you're trying to like bring up the excuse of MLS players for real. And Yeah, exactly, like, if you're looking at this Legat macky's reach the Olympics, you know that's what it. That's how I see it. It's legal Makis players help Mexico reachs Olympics. And the whole conversation we're another saying that, oh, M less is taken over, is taking like more competitive than we got make. He's like that should blow that shit out the window. Man, like that's not even a debate right now, with what we saw and molesteam couldn't even Ben Dods to get to the Olympics. I mean that's would even be a debate no more. In my opinion. You know, I feel like there's just two different sides to it. I feel like this, the whole mlesting is just an excuse that sort of fans or supporters are saying. But I feel like the MLS has grown really exponentially over the past years. But then at the same time, like there's no way that you can't produce and a love and man starting eleven that can't be on Dudas like that is just crazy me, because think about it. How many done colleges are in America? Like how many players do they recruit from all over the country? How many academies from MLS teams is there were which produced players like Western mckinney, who playing in juvendas right now, and they scout also players from all over the country. The population is like ten times greater and you're telling you can't. This is crazy to me. Like this is where you kind of look at that. What's that that had said about mls, where the reason they don't develop is because it's a pay to play, which is true. You can have all the talent in the world, but if you don't pay for an academy, you won't be noticed, and I mean that's coming from a guy who's in Europe. Where they over there, they don't care if you're poor or rich, like you're base. They're basically your your future, and soccer off your talent, which it's how any sports us, so it should be. You shouldn't bring economics into it. But even in that to like, no, I a hundred, we've talked about it before on the podcast, to about club soccer and all this about how you got to pay. And but still, even even for the fucking people that pay to play, those rich kids, you tell me they can't beat on Dudas like you're and especially all these due national players who are also playing on the you twenty three team, like Sebastian Soto, who supposedly Chila was fighting to get him, and some even fan supporters, are saying, oh, like she like and have them now. But we're about that before. Another player, Johnny Card also, who plays an inte...

...of Brazil, which I always every time I see into the Brascila, always get flashbacks from that Coopoi Vert Alata's game final that they beat you as in but that's besides the point. But also him. He's been getting experienced in Brazil on a really good team. Julian Raojo, who plays on Ali Galaxy, who didn't start many of the Games and who had a really tough time against Ariolanduna wins when they play Mexico, but they have players with experience, will been playing a lot of games in the MLS, and most of them Dudas, if not all of them. They all came from their local league. Yeah, really they did. And I mean, I guess I just came under like on Duda's just playing harder then us. You know, the people were saying that all. I don't want to hear that when ludas wanted a more burn. A sense it does, because of how, with that much talent that US had and experience, how do you lose to on Luda? You know, like there's no other explanation for it, and I feel like it helps those players who are on the fence about whether it's playing for USA or Mexico, like if I in Albadas and something Munios, who just played with Mexico, one on the senior and one at the you twenty two level. Now they're saying Oh, like there's no other like they USA basically made the choice for them by the getting knocked out of the Olympics. Because, think about it, I don't think if I ad albatus would get any minutes with the senior team, because what it? He barely gets minutes with the La Galaxy and he's going to start over like who Geo rain now or politic on the senior roster. And now what you have? No, they have no project. They just got not to the Olympics. is going to be a whole nother process in the next following years for you, twenty three team. Same thing for something munyos, who was born in Texas. He also played in the final today against Hondudas. And I feel like they just they pick for them. Basically, they're not gonna want to play for a team who hasn't made the last three Olympics and who also missed out on the last World Cup. No, yeah, Oh, yeah, yeah, true in every aspect of that. Like you said that they have to start fresh. So, you know, US can, they don't have to. You know, they don't think about Olympics no more. That's out the window. US are the soccers in US soccer is going to have to only think about now is, you know, qualifying for the World Cup and trying to win the Gold Cup this summer. Those are, I'm pretty sure those are. They have to be. Those top priority for that, you know, the nation in terms of soccer, and I'm moving forward from you know, I'm not making its Olympics looking towards that, the Olympics from Mexico. Who Do you think should be the three reforse was coming for them, you know, to help them traveling and hold, because at first I was thinking of maybe a goalie, but I feel like after the performance that could alla put on, and even my like one who started the the tournament, I think there shouldn't be a goal especially since I feel like what Josh to just keep getting those last tournaments in, like the coup auto with Mexico. Oh, I think my first one is Carlos Al Selo. I feel like they need a really good center back to go along with Johan Boskus. My second player would...

...probably somebody who I'm pretty sure you're going to agree with, Louise Montez from Leon, because I feel like any other player like ECTOREEA or other center mid from the senior team. I feel like they shouldn't play with the you twenty three because, especially like I had I, who already won the Olympics with Mexico, I feel like he already did his process and I feel like somebody like ze months, wasn't received all those opportunities, should get this one to play in the Olympics. And then my third one, which is making news all over, is Carlos Vela, which I kind of feel like he's does not he's not going to end up going, especially after Martino said that. How is it player going to say no to the senior team but say yes of a junior team? Yeah, at the end of the day, the person who makes the decision is Himlosano, who is a you twenty three coach. But we'll see. But I would love to see Carlos that, especially he hasn't seen action with the senior team because of his choice. Why not go and help out to you twenty three teammates Olympics? Oh yeah, that's true. I agree with you. Ruis Montees in the midfield would be like my midfield respecsal, like you say, because it I like you know, his times up, but also just because of like the type of leadership he could bring to the midfield and kind of, you know, for these juncers, kind of like show Wem, you know, the leadership and like how to manage a midfield, and he can be like that presence to, you know, leave the team moving forward. You know, give him that like betteran leadership that they all need. You said I settle the fender. I would say actor Moreno in my defense, like you know, in my opinion, and keeps out settle for the Gold Cup, but also just because, for you know, the experience that Moreno has, I feel like he would be more of a focal leader for the defense rather than sub sell. I feel like S I've settle, in a sense, isn't really a good role model. You know, sometimes you guys really hot headed easily, but he gets the job done. That's the thing, you get the job done. Yeah, but I mean I would rather have actor Moreno who's you know, he's who's better at like, you know, controlling the defense and keeping them, you know, all in sync with each other. And then, yeah, I would say, you said Carlos Vella. I would say maybe either too peart. That got people. And then take me out to the Gold Cup, you know, because if thought that doesn't want him for the junior squad, well then at least take him for the senior squad. You know what he already said. He's not he's not gonna go back to the senior team. You really do that? Do that the yeah, what kind of those levels? Bra Just fucking Obela. If you want to know, Vella, Vella is the one who doesn't want to go, like at all. Like no, he's not interested at all. But if, what if he asked? If? What? If he is interested? With that tostile Naya, I don't know. I mean thought that bend before. He said that the doors are open, but it doesn't come from this was to come from the player and he's talked to he's talked to ella before and he he has the same postures that he doesn't want to go. And one of the main things I didn't call up or when our mention Chu Ki or Takatito, which are probably the Mexico's best players right now for the senior team, is because I feel like this team, this you twenty three team, has really good...

...wingers whose process shouldn't be interrupted, which is like Antuna Alexi's Bagat quarterback and sometimes play on the wing, players who, I feel like she just keep getting those process keep getting those minutes internationally, playing against international teams. I feel like this their processes shouldn't be cut through in the middle, because it is a great opportunity for them. On Douna, who also had he's und I think for me, even because Alex, he's bag, I got voted as the best player of the whole tournament, who can also play. When he played, win a couple games. I feel like there's there. It's their time now, especially in Olympics, the amount of experience are going to gain, the players are going to play against, it's it's going to help them a lot. Oh yeah, it's definitely about experience but, like you said, yeah, also for them like coming together. But I would still, you know, I would still take in my payouts, still take top, you know, Chu key, if just for because of what he could offer you as a player. You know, maybe if you need somebody like that and it's a really good matchup, you know, having a player like that can really, you know, tip the balance towards Mexico's favored especially since they are going to be on the biggest stage. Who knows how they and handle, you know, all that pressure. But I mean, I don't know. We'll see WHO LOS ANO decides to take to this summer's Olympics. Yeah, and also the thing too, if he ends up getting somebody from Europe, it's up to their club team to decide if taking going now, since it's not enough official FEEFA tournament. Oh yeah, European teams are obligated to let players go play for their national team, which is something that's also kind of like Egypts coach, Egypt, you twenty three team. He said that he wants Muhammad s a lot to go to the Olympic, but then with all of Liverpool's injuries, it's that would be crazy to see Georgian club letting Salah go, but I don't know. We'll see this off time to decide. That'll be up to Losano. Will keep you guys updating. Yo We had the other Mexico senior squad also played today. I'm finishing off their to game. Fetch a FIFA matchups and in Europe they how did they seal the on zero victory with a go from Chu Ky over Costa Rica. What did you think? Not Not just about the game, but overall the whole bunch of fee of performance. Will they they lost against wills, I feel like awful mistake a lot of people. I want to give you get your point of view also on this, because you were one of the people to say that they played really bad in both games. But I feel like even off the Wales game, I feel like they just got scored off a mistake from Mexico, and especially there was off sides. I mean, I'm not going to cry and say, Oh, they should have called off side, because they also did really bad marking in the back on the goal. So they should have defended better. And it was really early. And I feel like the major thing that hurt Mexico was a didn't have a number nine. They didn't have a striker. Chokey how to play the fake number nine, staying up top and then be saddle. ended up playing false nine, which...

...fuck Mana, I hate to say, but having be not a play false nine that. I don't know Martino what was going through his head, but that was never going to work and he was. He was disappeared against Costa Rica and I feel like Mexico needs that number nine who going goes up against these physical defenders, somebody who can have their back turn to the goal and how I receive a ball, be able to distribute Henry Martin and Pulido, who were called up, and our number nine, but they ended up getting hurt. I feel like that was just a major thing. HMM, yeah, no, yeah, you said it was. I'M NOT gonna lie. It was an outside go from Wales. I don't know how they're ID and see that. But what I like, the how why I felt disappointed was with the team that they had and the teams they played against. You, I expected so much more. You know, I'm sitting there for two hours. I'm expecting to see goals, and this Mexico's team has proven that they can score goals. The and the lack of goals that they're like there was was what made me more, even disappointed. More in the first game whales, Mexico really had a hard time even, you know, creating chances. The midfield just didn't really connect, and with players like what Ado and Never Vera, I'm like you, having a midfield like that and not be able to play through, it was like disappointing for me, because those are, you know, experienced veteran midfielders from Mexico, but like they didn't show it, and I don't know if it's because where the hell hasn't played much recently. I mean he was out with an injury for, you know, couple, maybe like one or two months, and I don't know if maybe he's still trying to get the group back together. But same, same as I chactedly he was he had he was out with covid for a while. Yeah, but I mean, I don't know if that had any type of effect on them. But this Costa Rica Game. Also, they almost had a zero, zero draw and it was the last it was a basically a lastminute goal. That's Dave. Mexico the lead. Yeah, minute eighty nine, and I don't know what why didn't Martino just, if he was going to play piece obtle, like might as well just should have started trying out about it, you know, given minutes instead of putting him in the last nine minutes of the game. Like you said, he called up polio and Martini and Martin, who got injured, but to polio short of never been called up in the first place, and I feel like this was a great but then also to like we never knew that Boliso and any Martin, we're going to get hurt and practice before the first game. But then this kind of begs a question to like somebody would experience like Tachat Eito sh he I've been called up. Exactly the same question enters to of he's also played with no rhythm, especially because of the MLS ending a long time ago and then coming off barely to perform in the preseason. So maybe the same thing would happen. That happened with Pulido, and somebody order Manu, who will all said...

...multiple times he shouldn't call, and then somebody to WHO's he hasn't finished the process yet, but he's going too soon. As fun his Moody, who's going to be able to play for Mexico? He has to be called that for the Gold Cup. Like this, I feel like this ends the discussion, because a lot of people were saying, why would you call it when his Moodey? We have plenty of strikers, and then shit like this happens, where your two strikers that you called up and the third one drought. HEU mean is who's practicing with the team but couldn't play because, coming from the injury they both got hurt and then you were left with having to scratch something last minute and then putting players at risk, because I feel like Chu Ki to Chuki got fucking getting right. He was getting he got found so many times in both games and I feel like he was losing his temper, especially in that Wales game. And I feel like to point out to the wells match. In the second half, I feel like they played really defensively. I feel like most of the time the full Leven was on their side of the field and it's something that I'll point it out to to you. When the game was going on, I was like, you can't really attack. I mean you should be able to, but it's really hard to attack a team that's really playing in this defensively like that, especially in the second half late where they put in their stars like Gareth Bell, who I think it's kind of like overrated at this point. They still put in a lot of the players who are starting in the euro qualifiers. No, yeah, like you said, the order Manyo and funess Muti Shire like the for me, those should have been called up and get caught up like last defenders or something. Or taking players away from a different position. There is literally, I when you look at the listards way too many defenders that over offensive players. And I don't get white that does that. He's done a like for the last few call ups. I mean I don't know what. And he has like the like a fetish with rotating defensive players to like fish. Yeah, because, I mean he does that too. And we criticize the story of for switching the fenders and players, whether he do. He's doing the same thing, only with the defense. I mean it gives you're trying to get people minutes, but I mean you can't really build anything if you're not being consistent with your lineup. But Yeah, Wales, he said how they were all in the back, but that did that. That just goes back to differ that Chuki can't really play the nine. We saw him today. He would kind of roam towards of the wing and would nobody would be in the middle of when for his scianchists or Linus would try to center the ball, and that kind of just like it. It stops the lack of like, you know, opportunities from Mexico and which is which is what I said, that they didn't really create clear chances. They is because, like you said, they don't have a nine. F also, I mean putting two key there doesn't really sell any anything, because to key would always drift wide. and WHO's in the middle to receive the ball and creating chances? Nobody there, because that's what be sadden, especially for those who don't know the false nine. When somebody's playing false nine, you're supposed to drop all the way back to the defensive half and try to recover the ball, and that's...

...something that Pi Saddle kind of really felt. I mean he would drop down, but he wouldn't really do anything, wouldn't generate any plays. And I've learned it over most of the time I see R and his thing isn't. His thing isn't recovering the ball, like if for those who have seen him play on Chivas, Monterey, Pachuca and even some, I feel like his game dropped on into the Miami, but still like his thing is generating his things, generating plays, like solo like he does a lot of Solo plays. He likes to take shots, but he just playing false nine. I feel like put a lot of defensive pressure on him and he's not used to that and even thought I said to that thought the Martino after the game against wills. He said that his this team, needs to be patient with teams that play possession defensively, and they and that's also I agree, because I feel like they got desperate a lot of the times they would try to force plays. They would their shot selection wasn't the smartest. I mean they we're getting shots off, but they weren't on target are they just weren't good shots. They're passing was really good. They completed six hundred twenty nine passes compared to only two hundred from Wales. So I feel like the passing was good. But what good does is passing do to you if you're not getting anywhere with it? Yeah, if you're, if it's not leading two goals, then I mean that's what you're ultimately trying to build up with passes. You know chances and you know shots on goal and hopefully one of those goes in. Beah, like you said, I don't know. I see be sattery just been I saw him clumsy the last two games and I mean I that's I feel like that's was getting a lot of shit too, because, like what the way. I don't know why. The way he plays is not bother me by it doesn't bother me like, you know, like Oh, it's be saddle. It bothers me like he just kind of seems clumsy, you know, like not drove the ball. Sometimes, too much shit, Talk Your Shit Shit, Dude. He he droves a ball too much bra and like ends up getting taken away and he kind of just like throws his hands up and I'm like, Dude, if you lose a ball, go get it back. Brother, like you're obviously you're playing clumsy. Do like fucking go get the ball in. At least do like and don't dribble the ball for so long where you're not messy. You're trying to dribble it through like the two people to just passes there somebody opening you, and I mean that's what makes them look bad, because when he could, if he if me, if he makes a pass instead of dribbling, maybe that passed sooner can lead to an old like to a chance of talk, but he's choosing to dribble around, and that's, like you said. He it kind of like disrupts the attacking and I mean I don't know if it's just because he's still trying to get a rhythm back from not playing for like five months. But I mean that's also what you get for calling up m last players with having princes October and barely a returning to their preseason training. And especially these players who in the offseason. I don't think they're really doing much. I mean Jadito has been posting a lot of Shit on the offseason where he was fucking well, dude, he's working out, we're to go touch, go kick the ball, Bro Fuck now. But my point is, like a lot of these players, like it's very few who are on the off season, especially the MLS. They don't really do much, and especially like somebody like the Otter, who's now living in Miami, where there's a lot of...

...shit going on. I maybe there weren't really touching the ball that much on the offseason. They entered national team camps out of rhythm, and then ends up hurting the team and overall. But yeah, that's that's kind of last thing I want to talk about. Mexico. We'll see how there. We won't see them to the cold club, I believe. Yeah, unless they have a less that make tries to make another trying to get for that. Try to make a couple more friendlies, I believe, before that, but nothing that specially yet. And then we had another cone co COP giant, also who had couple games up in Europe. USA They had. They finished it off with two wins. The first one was against Jamaica and they had the second game against Northern Ireland. What did you see from this USA team, and do you think that they're blowing the shadow of proportion that all five straight wins? Watch how Mexico. What do you have to say about that? I mean, I think you can see. I see both sides of the coin. I mean look, they had players from clubs and ten different countries. That average age was twenty three. We had finally got to see sergeant pull this sick and Grana up top, which is something I wanted to see for a while, especially with Moosa adding moves up to that CAM position. But then, at the same time, bro You you beat Jamaica, you be Jamaica convincingly, and then you struggled, I feel like, to North Ireland. Only beat them by one goal, but I feel like, I don't know. These games help the team a lot to gain chemistry because I feel like you know somebody like Geo Reina, I feel like, didn't do really well against Jamaica. Same thing with Pulit SIC. Also shaky first half, ended up getting subed oubt a half time and then both of them ended up scoring in the second game. So I feel like these games are that's what they're meant for, be to gather rhythm, gain chemistry with players you're not playing against, you're not seeing on a consistent basis. But I feel like we shouldn't get carried away. This is to me, USA's golden generation better than land and Donovan. But they say really, but they still had normal but they still haven't done what like Landon Donovan and Clint Damnc's generation did. I mean, they haven't even won a fucking Gold Cup. And that's coming from players like they say, Bors, a door moon, juvent to's Chelsea, Barcelona, saorginal deas, who's scored with bars and then ended up scoring with USA the next game. But they haven't won anything. So I feel like we should slow down. This is there's golden generation, but I feel like people just slow down. Oh yeah, and I agree. They just slow down for one it. Let me tell you this. It was two thousand and a hundred eighteen days since they last had beaten a European R team. You know to that's the last one. Was Jet was in June two thousand and fifteen against Germany. That was last time that they beat a European team. And I mean to say that like, Oh, yeah, this is there on a beat an unbeaten streak of five games. But...

...the look. Look who you played? Trinidad, El Salvador, Jamaica, I believe they played against I think it was also a solvad or or on duddas was one of those two. But you're playing CONKA KAV teams that you would see in the element at Thotias. You're not playing like how Mexico was playing against freaking Netherlands, and we had against who also didn't play, Japan, you know, Oh Algeria, who was African champions. Yeah, Maramar, yeah, like for saying that. They're like there on a role. People should be afraid. They have like we haven't seen why. You're playing your you're winning games that you should be winning. Like we're not expecting more of the less. But, like you said, you know Policitchen, Jorreana, they had a subpart. First game had a bit or second second game. I think, to me, like the biggest takeaway from this is that people, the emily and all the the US soccer fans talking shit about how why mls players still getting called up. We had Sebastian the jet. You know, if you see the pregame of the first game, in the comments, everybody saying, Oh, why is this MLS taking a starting? Hey, he's getting hit right crazy. Then fast forward to the end of the game. For me he was the best player that of that game against Jamaica and he had two goals. You know, the tweeted that shit out, you know, Becky, gi betweeter or whatever. But I mean I saw a lot of people saying, Oh, where's that MLS hitters now, and I mean it's true, because why are you hitting on MLS that? That's where before, that's where your players are coming from. Why you? I mean, yeah, sure, they're there in Europe, but being in Europe doesn't necessarily mean that they're fucking better like or there. They should. Should, they should, they like should all be called up and said MLS players, like. I mean you should still have mls players present, like when you interview Troy Dayak. He said the same thing. It should be made up of both MLS and Europeans. So I mean, I don't get why people still say that, why mls payers being called up. It's like for that game, you know who was your best player, and mls player, you know. It's the thing too, is I feel like the US did a really good job in the midfield without mckenny and Tyler Adams, who usually are starters from that position, and that's like Legi. I feel like he he played his role, he did really well. He stood out again and sit out in the crowd against Jamaica. But and I feel like they should the average age is twenty three, but they should be having players with experience like this. Like I'm not and I hate to use next as an example because of the whole velry and maybe people think we're biased to Mexico, but like Mexico has like actor Moreno, and there's one of the other actor Nanta players who are older, who we can depend on when Games get rough, when decisions have to be made of where to make the passes, who to look for, and I feel like maybe legit could be that person. But other than that, is nobody really that stands out. That's like in the S, which and be good but can also be bad at the same time.

Yeah, and we had a discussion with him where he said how greg has approached them about, you know, sort of taking that veteran role and how he didn't ask for it, but he's happily, you know, taking it, and I mean it's working out with the midfield, I would say that probably, if he most likely, the way grow world calter has, you know, call him up, you know, continuously from the for the past year for the all the games that they had, I'm pretty sure he's gonna be, you know, he cilified himself as a starter for them and maybe we'll see him with Bustin mckinney, Tyler Adams in the midfield. That could be maybe the starting midfield for the Gold Cup, and that's something the to like every coach has that one player that everybody is like that's his guy, and I feel like legit, especially playing all those games in two thousand and twenty with the US being the only player to do so, I feel like that's that's his his player. I feel like we've seen it in Mexico to were for example, when Jabiaa get. It took like Gifer UNCO and and both of all Tis. Times like yeah, sometimes have that one player that you're not going to make them change your mind about not taking. That's just their guy, somebody they've gained druss or something. They see that. Maybe we don't and we never we never know how practices are. Maybe legit. He helping out a lot and practice leading players and that's just that's just a guy and we seen it. We see and seeing in the last few games. Yeah, we like say, yeah, we're seeing that. It's going to be interesting. This summer's Gold Cup action should be interesting. I'd say they still both USA and Mexico will reach the final again. Yeah, we'll see who comes out on top this time. Ano, they're going to be like, oh, we have the European players. Okay, we'll see that. We'll see used to be. If you can still win, and hopefully nobody's hurt. Nobody's hurt and everybody plays and none of that covid shit is still around. So hopefully all both teams are fully healthy and have their complete roster, because yours be does have one friendly already lined up for May. They're going to play Switzerland, so looking how that goes. And Yeah, that's it's about it for USA. I don't want to hear no excuses. Mexico beats the US, a rout team. You know. Want to hear all that Shit. Oh No, it's because we're it's Gold Cup in their favor of Mexico. I shut the fuck up. It's been playing at US oil. Shut up. I don't know. Excuses, we'll see. We'll see, but that's it for this week. Make sure to like, share, subscribe and we'll see all next time.
